Flights to Cyprus
There are frequent scheduled and charter flights out of England and other European countries to North Cyprus.
More than 80 flights per week arrive at North Cyprus airport Ercan during the summer.
There are 15 flights from three airports of London : Stansted, Gatwick and Heathrow. Most of them arrive in the evening.
North Cyprus has direct air links only with Turkey, where all planes from Europe must first touch down. From Turkey, you can choose from a number of scheduled flights from Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Adana and Antalya.

Passport & Visa Requirements
The citizens of European Union nations, Turkey, USA, Canada, Mexico, Malta, Japan, Switzerland, Norway, Israel, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Australia and New Zealand do not require visa.
All other nationals should check their position with regard to passports and visas with the nearest Embassy or Office of Representative of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
Visitors who do not wish to have their passports stamped by the authorities on arrival in North Cyprus may request a stamped visa form which is loosely inserted into the passport and removed on departure.

Duty Free Regulations
Each adult is permitted to bring 400 cigarettes, 500gr tobacco or 50 cigars, 1 litre of wine or spirits and up to 100cl of perfume. Duty-free shops can be found at Ercan Airport and the ports at Kyrenia and Famagusta.

Health regulations for bringing animals into the country:
1. Any kind of animal admission to the country needs preliminary permission.
2. The veterinary office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry gives the preliminary permissions.
3. The conditions of preliminary permission depend on the species of the animal. These conditions are told to animal owners by the veterinary office.
4. According the law that is in force now the quarantine period depends on the species and the origin country of the animal.
5. Costs of taking the animals to the quarantine place and keeping them there is incurred by the animal owner.
6. Any kind of food that contains animal and biological products needs preliminary permission to be imported if they are brought by the passenger on himself/herself.
